It's not too long

It's not too long, rather it is not long enough. The new sounds that kept coming in during the last minute, especially the strings, need way more exposure. I would suggest, instead of shortening the song, you extend it starting a couple bars before it ends.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Generally that's what I have in mind in terms of rearrangement. Stretch out the good shorten up the repetitive.

meh

It doesn't go anywhere, it's basically one string of eighth notes that sounds the same all the way throughout with some drums here and there

hollohill responds:

That's sort of the goal, actually. I didn't make this originally as a fully featured track as much as a background track to a game I'm helping make. It's meant to be non-obtrusive, easily loopable without getting annoying. So yeah, it's supposed to be boring. :P

that video is amazing

I only watched that video once. A long time ago. But it's what I thought of when I saw the title and sure enough, you sampled it in here :D yuh

SolusLunes responds:

It's fucking hilarious is what it is. :D

win

true artistic genius man, im sure some people have trouble comprehending what you were trying to express but i think this piece represents the achievement of world peace while simultaneously ending world hunger and giving everyone a million dollars without causing inflation
and also saving the lives of 3 million puppies and 4 million kittens

ZX responds:

it is about not washing my hands before i prepare food for homeless people

LMFAO

There is no way this could potentially be more awesome.

CluppHead responds:

Yeah, it's pretty fun, you should check out the other one I did. Maybe I can keep that search for inspirado thread open for awhile.

gah...

I could listen to this for an hour straight... and it's only 14 seconds long

Pure win

mr-jazzman responds:

Lol wait till the song comes out...It's probably gonna be my best dubstep song to date! =)

Good, but...

What's with the funky "harmonies" in places like 0:57, 1:43 - 2:09, 2:58, and 3:27 - 3:58?

It sounds like they're there to facilitate a key change, and it works, but it's just not that pleasant to listen to. Other than that, I like it. Similar to the original, but different enough to be called a remix.

Audio-Warfare responds:

thanks

yes i know, there are some different bass notes when it come to those points
and i think that is what your hearing, it does sound good tho i thought.
those arent the exact spots where it changes the bass but it does like at the beginning of the chorus.

but i apreciate the critisizm^^

It's ok, I mean the reason people like basshunter is because he sings. If you're going to imitate basshunter you kind of have to have vocals

ganon95 responds:

bleh i don't like adding vocals to my songs, besides this song has no vocals

It lacks structure

The main thing with this is that it lacks structure and sounds like random notes. You've got the sounds and skills needed to make it much better. Try having the bass play the roots of a chord progression and add a pad or something playing the full chords, then write a melody based off of the chords. It can be as simple as going up and down the scale.

TehRave responds:

Ah yes I understand, but basically the structure of the song is scaling the melody up and down. In another song I will take everything you've said into account though.

Thanks for the review

I like it

It feels like the kind of music that could be playing in the background of some FPS. If that's what you were going for then you nailed it.

Windows98 responds:

Thanks :)
I hope it does get used!
