Generally I agree with what everyone's said so far about it, but one thing I'd like to add that's small, I think the lead that comes in at 0:34 for a bit is genius!

I can see where you're coming from.

First of all, nobody sounds good if what they're using to make music sucks at making music. What program are you using?

Anyway, solid composition. Just needs a good ending, and better sounds. What I mean by that is if you get higher quality sound samples/synthesizers, that right there gives your work a much better sound. If you want some example, listen to 2 different submissions of mine (warning, my titles are quite suckish): "Yoda is dead" and then listen to "Inner Workings." Sound alike? Kind of. But the only thing I changed between the two was the sounds of the 4 parts. Yoda is dead uses general MIDI, while Inner Workings uses a software synthesizer that has essentially the same sounds as general MIDI, just much higher quality. You'll easily hear how much of a difference it makes.

For even more perspective, if you've got time, listen to all my submissions (XD). I think you'll easily figure out which ones have the better sounds than the others. And, hey, leave reviews too! (Hey, I helped you, now I get to advertise =P)

I gave you 9/10 and 5/5 for effort and potential. I really like the construction of this song, so... yeah.

Great, but...

Add the hip hop beat a little later, once the theme is more developed, and the low strings at the beginning when they change notes it kind of has this "skippy" feel to it... I was thinking "this will be epic" and then it changed notes and it felt like it choked... no big deal, just a small thing that would make people not have picky comments like this =]

The only thing I would change is when the second guitar layers on top of the first one, the end note is pinched, which distracts from the peacefulness of the song. I realize you may be going for a contrasting feel here, but this would not be the way to do it.

Also (I lied, there's two things I would change), the guitar at the beginning which keeps playing arpeggiated chords throughout seems like if someone was playing it their pick would be getting hung up on the strings; some notes hesitate a bit too long... again you might have done that on purpose, but it's not something I would do.

I'm being picky =D I can't help it... 9/10 5/5

Not bad... for what it is

This would be pretty nice if it actually had...
1) a beat
2) a bass
mainly, and to be better
3) more variation
4) a secondary melodic synth

This really isn't all that bad, for what it is. Still a 4 because you're missing so much. I hope you take my advice and kick this up a notch!
